Mighty List
I started off with a list of Forty Things to do before I turned Forty but now I want to think bigger. I did proclaim myself to be “Notorious” after all. So it’s time to get “Mighty” and live large! This is my list of things I’d like to do before I do before I die.

- Barcelona-I want to eat till I cry and see La Sagrada Familia
- Visit La Alhambra-No explanation needed
- Hike the Inca Trail on foot
- Visit Antarctica
- Live in a loft
- Speak at a TED Conference
- Grow a flower garden
- Do 100 push ups
- Do a Head Stand
- Do a Break Dancing Move
- Attend the Opening Ceremonies of an Olympic Games
- Attend the Black and White Ball
- Watch fireworks with Elian
- Take 50 types of dance classes
- Attend BlogHer conference
- Eat at Topolobampo
- Read the whole bible
- Karaoke with my Dad in Manila
- Get paid to publish something
- Kiss Arnold under the Eifel Tower(Credit goes to Justy for that one)
- Become competent in a new dance
- Celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary with Arnold in NY
- Start a successful business with awesome women.
- Live in New York for a year
- Eat Empanadas at the Museo del Oro with my parents and brothers
- Buy a big weird house and fix it up Notorious MLE style
- Give my baby boy a sibling
- Compost
- Attend a taping of So You Think You Can Dance
- Dress on the outside like the person I feel I am inside
- Walk a red carpet
- Run a 7 minute mile
- Visit all the landmarks I love from Amelie
- Eat the Neapolitan pizza that Liz Gilbert described in Eat. Love. Pray.
- Make one spectacular and amazingly delicious dish each year
- Give my son the opportunity to be a serious dancer or musician if he so desires
- Pay off our friggin student loans already
- Become less critical of everyone. (Including me)
- Just once buy the impractical/too expensive (insert item here)-credit to Allyn
- Memorize a beautiful poem
- Travel California’s El Camino Real and visit each Mission
- Memorize 5 songs for the piano that I love and then perform them somewhere
- Hike the Inca Trail
- Landscape the front yard
- Go on a hike every year
- Eat at Delancey in Seattle
- Do 100 push-ups in a row
- Take a ballet class
- Take an awesome family portrait
- Interview 100 creative people
- Remember that lists do not define success (credit to my Tia Carolina)
- Visit Iguazu Waterfalls in Brazil
- Backpack through Europe with Arnold
- Sew something cool
- Make chocolate cheesecake with Elian
- Take my Mom to Savannah
- Visit the City Museum in St. Louis with Elian
- Read the Chronicles of Narnia with Elian
- Read A Wrinkle in Time with Elian
- Read Harry Potter with Elian
- Convert the garage in the backyard to a “Writer’s Studio/guesthouse”
- Switch to a custom made theme for this blog.
- Design a blog header.

I really did cry while eating in Spain, according to my friends I kept exploding into little fits of “HOW DO THEY DO IT?!”

The Inca Trail twice? Once on foot and once… por burro? May I also suggest rafting the Grand Canyon?
Good catch. I don’t think I’ll be doing that twice. Grand Canyon sounds good though! Is it scary? I’m not sure I’m ready for scary.
PS – Why not eat at Delancey next month? I’m guessing you can get a reservation this far in advance… especially if you mention your list on Twitter. :)
What a great list! I’m 31 also and have been thinking about making ‘the list’. It must be something about this age. I feel like it’s now or never!
